Since visionary founder Juan Ferrer opened the first Catunambú café many years ago in the heart of Seville, our goal has always been to make people happy and let them enjoy exceptional coffee moments. With Catunambú we offer more than just coffee; we offer a real experience, a moment of relaxation and togetherness.

The secret behind our Catunambú coffee lies in its unique aroma, intense flavor and distinctive character, the result of our artisanal production process, decades of experience and attention to even the smallest details to achieve the perfect result.

More than 100 years after our founding, we remain true to this passion, with the fourth generation of master blenders still preparing our coffee in the same artisanal way and with the same dedication. We use only the best coffee beans in the world, purchased directly from local coffee farmers in countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, Papua, Costa Rica, Kenya, Mexico, Java, Venezuela, India and Ethiopia.

Our CEO, Jaime Borrás, personally visits the coffee plantations regularly and maintains close relationships with the producers. The beans are hand-picked and carefully washed, a labor-intensive but essential process to ensure the unique quality of Catunambú coffee.

Once in our specially designed storage facility in Seville, the beans undergo rigorous quality control. From coffee beans of more than 30 origins, we carefully select a unique blend of 12 beans to create the distinctive Catunambú flavor profile and aroma. For more than 40 years, our master roasters, led by Enrique, have guaranteed to extract the special aromas and full character from the green coffee beans.

The critical step is the tasting, where 5 experts with years of experience put together the perfect Catunambú blend. Finally, a careful packaging method ensures that the outstanding quality of Catunambú coffee is maintained, its aroma is accentuated and its freshness is preserved.
