The taste of freshly ground coffee beans is more intense and complex than that of capsules, because the coffee releases more aromas during the grinding process.
Another advantage of coffee beans is that it is generally cheaper than capsules. If you start comparing per cup, you are often cheaper than using capsules. In addition, coffee beans are more environmentally friendly because you are not using disposables.
A disadvantage of coffee beans is that they have a limited shelf life after opening the bag. It is recommended to consume the coffee beans within 8 weeks after opening.
